This week, Per and Jacob have been out looking at a sumptuous villa in the urbanization La Perla in Benalmádena, which became a Mojo listing a bit by chance. The villa that Per and Jacob have been out looking at this time can perhaps better be described as a mansion. It is a villa where they have gone all in – the most distinctive thing is probably the two stairs that wind down to the front garden, where the private pool is at the end. In other words: this villa can live up to any James Bond dream with a majestic driveway that is at least one Aston Martin worthy.
Mojo sold the neighboring villa in 5 days
This villa became one of Mojo’s listings out of a coincidence. Mojo’s Dutch broker Tristan was responsible for the sale of the neighboring villa, which was recently sold for 925,000 euros in just five days. The mansion in the video had just been put up for sale at this point. The price is 1,900,000 euros, which is not bad for a villa with 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Villa with a huge plot
The plot for this mansion is 5,000 square meters with the possibility of subdivision for further development or to build a separate house. It is quite unusual to find such a beautiful villa on the Costa del Sol with such a large plot so close to the water. The Higueron West area: the ‘triangle area’
A popular topic we talk about at Mojo is the ‘triangle area’ in Benalmádena. Here we mean the Higuerón area, up to the Benalmádena Pueblo and down to Torrequebrada. It is an area with attractive homes, both villas, and apartments, and at the same time, there are beautiful beaches, lots of entertainment and really good restaurants.
Properties within walking distance to the beach
Real estate agents may be a little quick to use the phrase ‘walking distance’ to describe homes for sale. When it comes to homes for sale on the Costa del Sol, ‘walking distance’ in particular requires an explanation – or perhaps further clarification. From the urbanization La Perla there is a 700 meter (10 minute) walk down to the water’s edge at playa Carvajal. It is a 10-minute walk downhill. Due to the property being located on a hillside, it is harder to walk up the hill again. That is what you awarded for having Europe’s best views of the Mediterranean and the Costa del Sol.
Property within walking distance to city life
When you buy a home on the Costa del Sol, you will also want to be able to enjoy the many offers of entertainment and not least the Mediterranean cuisine, which over the years has become a real fusion cuisine. The same principle applies here – the trip out can seem significantly shorter than the trip home. If you live within walking distance to the beach or restaurant, the trip home by taxi often costs no more than what you pay for a drink.
